Glad that we finally got an independent bookstore in Milford. Great selection and cozy atmosphere. Glad to be able to meet Lynne Constantine and get a signed copy of her newest release. Looking forward to more visits and hopefully more author meet and greets.

A cozy, welcoming bookstore with a great selection of books for both adults and kids. I loved browsing—there are also lots of cute little gifts that make it perfect for finding something special. A big highlight is the Friday storytime at 11 a.m. for toddlers: sweet stories, fun crafts, and a really warm, friendly atmosphere. Such a lovely spot for families and book lovers alike. 📚✨

I’m so grateful that Milford now has this lovely independent bookstore. The owner and staff are so warm and knowledgeable. Great selection of books across many genres. Looking forward to going back!

My new favorite bookstore! Everyone I've spoken to is friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner, Kristen, is fantastic! She will do everything she can to find a book you're looking for, and she'll keep you involved in the whole process! I'm so glad Mermaid Books is here!

What a beautiful book store. My daughter and I stopped in yesterday and had such a great time in the cozy children’s nook. We were greeted with warm smiles, and felt right at home. I definitely recommend stopping in with your kiddos, or even without and grabbing that book you’ve been thinking about. We’re looking forward to returning!

This place is a little gem. I’ve been exploring the area and absolutely loved the vibe here. It’s dainty, cozy, and has all the warm, inviting feels a bookstore should have. I even picked up a couple of books for the kids and a cute pin. I’m definitely planning to bring my little girl next time. Can’t wait to come back!

Mermaid Books is the perfect addition to downtown Milford. The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and want you to have a great experience. They have a great selection of adult and children's books and the welcoming environment makes everyone want to stay and hang out. They are also fantastic with special orders and requests

The cutest bookstore! The shelves were stocked with trending/highly rated books and I don’t think I picked up a book while browsing that I didn’t want to read. Kristen is also extremely kind and takes book title feedback (from all ages) very seriously for future stocking purposes. I adored all the other creative materials in the store (planners, pens, pencils, keychains, watercolors). I wish I lived closer to Milford because this bookstore is one of a kind

Cozy book store in a perfect location. I stopped by this bookstore with my kids for a local author's book release and I was impressed by the variety of kids books. It is a small store, but that is good for kids, and there's room for them. The owner is very nice. She has young kids, so she knows what they are looking for. It is also in the best location. There's other shops and places to eat. So, we got lunch and then you can walk right over to the docks and chdck out the water. Definitely a place to check out when you are in the area with littles.
